It is now so easy to create your own blog that it seems just about everyone is doing it, however, whether everyone should be doing it is an entirely different matter! Case in point, what makes me think I should have my own blog?? Well, I will leave that to you, the reader (hopefully more than just me and my wife!), to decide whether my blog is worth visiting.
It is also the case that just about every imaginable topic is the focus of someone's blog. In my case, my blog focus spans three topics! First, over the past several years I have developed a taste for ramen to the point of searching out ramen spots whenever I travel. Second, I am an avid (to express it lightly) coffee and espresso drinker, so much so that I even took a barista training course! So whenever I travel I also try to find highly recommended coffee places. Finally, although I have been drinking beer for a very long time (in fact, my parents have a picture of me as a baby with a Schiltz Tallboy in my lap adorned with a nipple on it!), I have really gone off the deep end into the craft beer scene.
So, the idea for this blog is certainly related to my love of tasty ramen, good coffee and espresso, and craft beer, but it is also a response to my wife lovingly rolling her eyes at me when I said I should start a blog!
Whenever we travel, we always make it a point to search out ramen, coffee, a beer, so why not have some fun with it. So post number 1 begins ...
